With a new Year coming in just a few days, we were reminded that our God is the God of new beginnings.  All around us people will be setting new years resolutions. If you are a member of a gym then for the next few months it will probably be very busy, but where are those people come May or June?

Is that true of our Christian Lives?  2 Corinthians 5:17 ¹⁷  So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away — look, what is new has come! This verse tells us that as Christians we are a new creation. Let’s begin 2020 and break free from the things that have bound us. Let’s look at 2020 as a chance for a new beginning.  Matthew 6:33 ³³  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
