What are the distractions in your life? How often do we get caught up in the every day things of this life and lose our focus on those things that are eternal? In my own life sometimes I let the pressures and demands of everyday living distract me from the things that I know are really important.

Matthew 6:33 tell us “³³  But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” This verse comes in the middle of that passage that is talking about the everyday needs of food and clothing, and yet we are told not to worry about those things “but above all pursue His Kingdom”. A good reminder – Let’s not get distracted by these little things but stay focused on the BIG (eternal) things
